Refund policy

Cherry Velvet Studio Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates on a made-to-order basis. Each item is produced specifically for the customer upon receipt of an order.

This policy outlines your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK).

1. Your Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us within this period by contacting:

Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • unworn
  • unwashed
  • in their original condition

As each piece is made to order, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

2. Returns Process

To request a return, please email:

  • your full name
  • order number
  • reason for return

We will provide return instructions.

Please return your item using a tracked service, keep proof of postage, and share the tracking details with us. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

3. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund.

Refunds will include:

  • the cost of the item
  • the original standard delivery cost (where applicable)

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

We do not refund:

  • return shipping costs
  • any upgraded delivery options

We may reduce the refund if the item has been used beyond what is necessary to check its size, fit or condition.

If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original method of payment within 5 to 10 business days. The exact timeframe may vary depending on your payment provider.

4. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a replacement or refund.

Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and provide:

  • your full name and order number
  • a description of the issue
  • clear photographic and video evidence

Where applicable, we will:

  • replace the item
  • or issue a full refund

We will cover any return costs in these cases.

5. International Orders

For orders shipped outside the UK:

  • Returns for change of mind are accepted under the same 14-day policy
  • Customs duties and import taxes are non-refundable and remain the. responsibility of the customer.
  • We recommend returning items using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
